About me

I provide a respectful space for you to examine what may feel like too much to handle on your own. I will accompany you on the journey to find solutions to lighten your life, increase your sense of worthiness, and become more of who you really are as a person with good self esteem and trust in yourself. I offer a supportive path to reframing your personal story and letting your innate wholeness, joy, and light back in.

I've had decades of training and clinical practice in the treatment of anxiety, depression, loss, and grief. I have helped clients, their partners, and their families deal effectively with tough life transitions, relationships problems, and issues of adolescence. Over many years as a supervisor for counseling interns, I helped new therapists in their journey toward licensing. I'm also LGBTQ friendly.

My education, credentials, and affiliations include:

  • A master's degree in Psychology from California State University, Chico

  • Licensing as a marriage and family therapist (MFT) from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (#MFC27436 ); and

  • Clinician membership in the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT)

I have deepened my understanding and appreciation of people, their resiliency, and capacity for hope through extensive travel, and through this exposure to different cultures and ways of life my own capacity for gratitude and hope has grown.

Nature is my happy place. I also enjoy spending time with my adult children and grandchildren on a regular basis.

My quiet little dog Lexi sometimes comes to work with me, in her role as office mascot.
